Export Process

Seven disciplined steps. Clear timelines. No surprises.

Every shipment from JQ EXPORTS follows a documented, repeatable process. You always know what is happening, who is responsible and when the next milestone lands.

Step 1 — Inquiry & specification agreement

Send your requirement (product, quantity, destination, specification). Within 24 business hours you receive a formal quotation with price basis (FOB/CIF/CFR), MOQ, packaging and validity period. We agree the full specification in writing — including tolerance limits — before anything moves.

Step 2 — Sample approval (optional)

Pre-shipment samples are dispatched by courier (DHL/FedEx) or we share laboratory reports and photos. Sample cost is nominal and credited against the first order.

Step 3 — Contract & payment

We issue a sales contract (proforma invoice) covering commodity, quantity, quality, price, Incoterms, payment terms, packing and shipping period. Payment terms accepted: Letter of Credit (sight LC), TT (30/70 or 40/60), DP at sight — subject to credit assessment.

Step 4 — Sourcing & processing

We reserve raw material, process to your specification and run in-house laboratory tests. Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek) can be scheduled at your cost or included in the contract.

Step 5 — Pre-shipment inspection & treatment

Inspection reports are shared for approval. Sterilisation, fumigation and any destination-required treatments are completed with certificates.

Step 6 — Shipping & documentation

We book the vessel, arrange customs clearance and dispatch the full document set — invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary/health certificate, certificate of analysis — by courier and email. Documents under LC are presented through your nominated bank.

Step 7 — Delivery & after-sales

We track the voyage and keep you informed. Post-dispatch, your account manager stays available for destination clearance support, claims and reorders. Typical total lead time from contract to shipment: 7–21 days depending on product and processing requirements.
