Frequently Asked Questions

Everything international buyers ask us about MOQs, pricing, payment, shipping, quality and customization.

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
MOQ depends on product and packaging. Bulk commodities (rice, pulses, grains, oil seeds): 1 x 20' FCL (approx. 24–26 MT). Ground spices and dehydrated products: 1 x 20' FCL or 5 MT for regular buyers. Private label retail: 1 x 20' FCL per SKU. LCL/smaller lots are available for samples and trial orders.
How quickly will I receive a quotation?
Within 24 business hours of receiving your requirement. For standard products with destination and quantity specified, we usually respond the same day with FOB, CFR and CIF prices.
Are samples available before ordering?
Yes. We dispatch pre-shipment samples by DHL/FedEx (3–5 days worldwide) and can share laboratory reports and photos immediately. Sample cost is nominal and is credited against your first order.
Which Incoterms do you offer?
We quote FOB (Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Kandla, Pipavav), CFR and CIF to any major world port, plus ex-works on request. Incoterms 2020 apply to all contracts.
What payment terms do you accept?
Sight Letter of Credit (LC at sight), TT with deposit (typically 30/70 or 40/60), and DP at sight — subject to credit assessment. For repeat buyers we can structure open-account terms with credit limits.
What is your typical delivery lead time?
From contract to shipment: 7–21 days depending on the product and processing required. Standard processed spices ship in 10–14 days; private label and custom blends take 14–21 days from artwork approval.
How do you guarantee quality?
Quality is contracted in writing — every parameter with tolerance limits. Every lot is tested in our laboratory (purity, moisture, ash, oil content, colour value, aflatoxin, residues, microbiology) and ships with a certificate of analysis. Buyers may nominate third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek) before shipment.
Which certifications do you hold?
ISO 22000:2018, HACCP, FSSAI registration, APEDA registration, SPAICE membership, and NPOP organic certification for organic products. Kosher and Halal certification available for applicable SKUs. See our Certificates page for details.
Can you meet EU/US/Japan residue limits?
Yes. We test for pesticide residues against EU MRLs, US FDA tolerances and the Japan Positive List, and we contract to the strictest applicable standard. Sterilisation (steam, ETO) and irradiation can be arranged with certificates.
Which ports do you ship from?
Primarily Mundra, Nhava Sheva (JNPT), Kandla and Pipavav on India's west coast, plus Chennai and Krishnapatnam for east-bound routes. Transit times: Middle East 3–7 days, Europe 18–25 days, US East Coast 25–35 days, US West Coast 18–25 days, East Asia 10–16 days.
What documentation do you provide with shipments?
Commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, certificate of analysis, phytosanitary certificate, health certificate (where applicable), fumigation/sterilisation certificates and insurance documents for CIF. Under LC, documents are presented through your bank.
Can you pack under my private label?
Yes. We offer full private label service — retail pouches (100 g–5 kg), jars, foodservice packs and bulk bags with your artwork, destination-compliant labelling, barcodes and batch coding. MOQ from 1 x 20' FCL per SKU. See the Private Label page.
Do you supply organic products?
Yes — organic turmeric, spices, millets and more, certified under NPOP (India Organic) with NOP (USDA) and EU organic equivalency documentation for exports.
Can you manufacture custom spice blends for our recipes?
Yes, under our OEM service. We blend to your recipe with batch records, retained samples and full confidentiality (NDA). Custom grinding to your mesh size and sterilisation are included in the service.
How do I track my inquiry or order?
Every inquiry receives a reference number (e.g. JQE-2026-000123). You can check its status anytime on our Track Inquiry page using the reference and your email address. Order milestones are also communicated by email.
What if the goods do not meet the agreed specification?
Our contracts include clear tolerance clauses. In the rare case of a genuine specification breach confirmed by inspection, we replace the goods or issue credit — per the contract's claim procedure. Claims must be filed within the notice period stated in the contract (typically 21 days from discharge).
