Packaging & Labelling

Correct packaging is a specification in itself. Moisture migration, odour contamination, insect ingress and labelling non-compliance are among the most common reasons for claims at destination. Our packaging programme eliminates those risks by design.

Pack formats we offer

• Bulk export: 25 kg and 50 kg PP bags (food grade), jute bags, paper bags with inner liner, and big bags (500–1000 kg) for grains and animal feed.
• Foodservice: 5 kg, 10 kg and 20 kg HDPE/PP packs with airtight liners.
• Retail: 100 g – 5 kg stand-up pouches, laminate pouches and jars with your private label artwork.
• Specialty: vacuum packs, nitrogen-flushed packs and oxygen-barrier laminates for powders and high-value spices.

Material standards

All food-contact materials are food-grade and comply with destination-market requirements (FDA 21 CFR for the US, EU 10/2011 for Europe). We maintain material certificates and can provide migration-test documentation on request.

Labelling compliance

Labels are prepared in accordance with the destination country\'s regulations:

• USA: FDA food labelling — product name, net weight, ingredient statement, nutrition facts (where applicable), country of origin, packer/importer details.
• EU: EU 1169/2011 — name, ingredients, allergens, net quantity, best-before, storage conditions, FBO details.
• GCC/Middle East: bilingual labelling (Arabic/English), production/expiry dating, country of origin.
• Japan/Korea: local language labelling and additive declaration per JFRL/MFDS rules.

Private label

Share your artwork — or brief us to design it — and we manage printing, packing and compliance. Minimum order quantities for private label retail packs start at 1 x 20\\\' container per SKU. See our Private Label page for the full process.

Container loading

We load in accordance with standard container capacities: 20\\\' FCL typically 24–26 MT (rice, pulses, grains), 26–27 MT for denser commodities like sugar and groundnuts, and 40\\\' HQ up to 26–28 MT depending on stowage factor. Loading is supervised, with photos and seal numbers shared before departure.
